Palau de la Música: “Jazz en viu… Swing!”
The 3rd ESO students have enjoyed an amazing concert at Palau de la Música: a show called “Jazz en viu… Swing!”
It has been really great from the very beginning until the end: a powerful and colorful Jazz Big Band appeared on stage to show us the Swing, which is an early Jazz style with a characteristic syncopated rhythm. A couple of dancers, dressed in period clothes, made an exhibition of tap-dance, and the music presented a myriad of styles:
work songs, blues, gospel, soul, marching band, jam-session…
We had a great time together!
