Fundació Mona

Last Thursday 11th, we went to Fundació Mona and we saw many primates. First David and Teresa told us about the dangers and causes why the chimpanzees and macaques are endangered animals.

Then we visited the area where the animals live and they explained to us the personal stories of each one and their names. Most of them had physical and psychological problems and it was very sad.

But now, we know that they are feeling better with their new lives and their keepers who help them a lot.

We changed some old mobile phones for money to help them.

It was very interesting but a little bit sad to know that there are some people who hurt these animals.

They are wild animals and they want and need to live free and with their families in the jungle.
